Few indoor plants are as care-friendly as the ZZ Plant, which practically thrives on neglect (seriously, try this out!). And this hybrid is high on everyone’s wishlist.

Its verdant black foliage that starts out green has a natural glossy sheen throughout the year making this classic East African stunneran essential houseplant, especially for those spaces where everything else struggles to survive, as they are tolerant of a wide range of conditions from low light, dry air and inconsistent watering. However, provide with good light to get your plant to be the optimal black in its foliage.

Keep it potted and it will stay fairly small. Repot the ZZ Plant houseplant, incrementally to a larger pot, and it willfill out beautifully, with stems that can grow to 90cm or much larger.

They make for fabulous accent plants in medium to bright indirect light rooms or rooms that only have artificial lighting, on tabletops or as eye-level focal points. They are extremely slow-growing and will not dominate a space quickly.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your ZZ Plant healthy and happy:

Water: Water thoroughly and allow the soil to become bone dry before watering again, ZZ plants have thick roots that retain water for long periods.
Light:Medium-light to Bright indirect Light for best results
Humidity:Average room humidity, no humidity adjustments required
Fertilize: Feed 4 times a year with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted by half
